Gucci Mane To Collab With Brittany Spears

RumorFix has learned exclusively that Britney Spears is hooking up with rapper Gucci Mane for a new song.

Gucci confirms to RumorFix that he'll be spitting a few bars on Britney's new tune, "Hit."

The unlikely duo will meet next week in an Atlanta studio at Mizay Entertainment to record the track.

The hiphop artist tells RumorFix that Britney has been a fan of his music for years, that's why he chose to do the song with her. "Britney's so icy," Gucci tells RumorFix exclusively, "I'm going to make her go Brrr."

And if there's a rapper out there who knows anything about being "icy," it's Gucci. Last week, the Atlanta native had an ice cream cone tattooed on the side of his face to symbolize just how "icy" he is.

Gucci tells RumorFix he chose to work with Britney because she's "raw and exciting. She's crazy. We like to get down like that."

Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka's New Reality TV Show

Southern rappers Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame will light uptelevision screens in the near future with plans to launch a reality series.

According to Gucci Mane, they will provide viewers with an inside look at their lifestyles.

The yet to be titled program will give viewers an intimate look at the behind-the-scene lives of two of rap's biggest names. "We show everyday life. What we get into in studio and at our shows. We just ordinary people with a crazy Rock 'N' Roll lifestyle," Gucci told RumorFix exclusively. "Because of the music we make, people think that's what we do all the time -- but we got a real family life. We got heart. We do a lot of things for the community and we love each other," the Atlanta rapper continued. (RumorFix)

Waka's mother/manager, Debra Antney, will also be involved on the untitled show.

Gucci tells RumorFix he hopes the show helps people getting a better understanding of him and his best friend. "I think they'll get a laugh more than anything. I'm not serious all the time. People think we are thugs because of our music." Waka Flocka's mother, Debra Antney, will also star in the show, that if picked up, will air on BET. (RumorFix)

Last week, Gucci made headlines after showing off a new ice cream cone face tattoo.

Rapper Gucci Mane, 30, revealed his latest tattoo today (January 13)--an ice cream cone located on his right cheek--causing many fans to question the reasoning behind the artwork. Kali Bowyer, Gucci's spokesperson, spoke to Rolling Stone about the meaning of the image. "It's a reminder to fans of how he chooses to live his life," she said. "Cool as ice. As in 'I'm so icy, I'll make ya say Brr.'" Bowyer also said the design was inspired by a medallion that Gucci has worn for years. (XXL Mag) - SOHH

Gucci Mane Committed to Mental Facility

Rapper Gucci Mane believes he's not mentally competent to fight prosecutors' efforts to revoke his probation ... this according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The 30-year-old rapper -- real name Radric Davis -- appeared in a Georgia courtroom yesterday after filing a "Special Plea of Mental Incompetency" ... in which he explained he was in no state to "intelligently participate in the probation revocation hearing."

According to the document, the judge ordered Gucci into custody -- and immediately committed the rapper into a mental health treatment facility pending an evaluation of his mental condition.

We're told Gucci is currently at the treatment facility. - TMZ

Waka Flocka Turn's Himslef In To Police

Rapper Waka Flocka turned himself in to authorities today on gun, drug, and gang-related charges -- because according to his mother, "He didn't want to run."
The Henry County Sheriff's Department tells TMZ ... Waka was booked for multiple charges including:
  • -- Possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce
  • -- Possession of firearm by convicted felon
  • -- Possession of hydrocodone
  • -- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
  • -- Violation of probation for driving on a suspendedlicense
  • -- Violating Georgia's "Criminal Street Gang and Terror Prevention Act"

The rapper's mother tells TMZ, Waka surrendered on his own this afternoon "because he wanted to do the right thing and didn't want to run."

As we first reported, cops hit Waka's home on December 16 -- and after confiscating all sorts of illegal items, issued an arrest warrant for Waka ... who wasn't home at the time.

Waka's being held on $31,950 bond -- and a hearing is set for tomorrow. - TMZ

Gucci Mane Heading Back To Jail

A Superior Court judge has ordered that Gucci Mane be sent to prison for a year, for violating the terms of his probation during an altercation in November of 2010.

According to Dennis Byron's Hip-Hop Enquirer website, Gucci could be sentenced to over a year in prison, for the probation violation.

The rapper's attorney unsuccessfully argued to have Gucci, born Radric Davis, placed on home confinement.

In the end, a Fulton County Superior Court judge agreed that a prison term for Gucci Mane was inevitable.

If he is found guilty, Gucci Mane could spend as many as 17 months behind bars. The rapper has a hearing date for January 24th, 2011.

In November of 2010, Gucci Mane was arrested after police reported a white Hummer driving erratic on Northside Drive in Atlanta.

When officers responded to the scene, they found Gucci Mane arguing with another man. Gucci allegedly struck the man as police attempted to diffuse the situation, resulting in officers pepper spraying the rapper.

He was charged with damage obstruction, damage to government property, driving without a license, reckless driving, running a red light or stop sign, failure to maintain a lane and driving on the wrong side of the road.

At the time, prosecutors dropped the charges and released Gucci for "want of prosecution."

The November arrest came just six months after Gucci Mane was released from prison, after serving six months for a previous probation violation.

In December of 2010, police raided a home belonging to Gucci associate Waka Flocka Flame. Although Waka wasn't home, Gucci was at the residence. He was briefly handcuffed and detained before being released.

Two other men were arrested at the residence for marijuana possession and gun charges.
